Badawi - The Prime Minister

Well. The former PM told him to step down. Others pledge their support to him. So the question is ... Should Badawi resign? In my humble opinion, I see that during his short administration he indeed brought some changes. People keep saying there is a lot of corruption in the government brought up hot discussion in local newspaper this few years. But have you ever thought this kind of matter actually exist way back ago before Badawi's time. Only in Badawi's era did we manage to see the crackdown of some unscrupulous minister swindling down our money. Do you want to know it or left hidden behind your knowledge so they became bolder and dig a bigger hole in your pocket?

Fuel price rise? Come to think about it. Not only in Malaysia is facing this problem. Every country in the world face it too. The fact that government subsidised is because they are caring. If you can't keep up with the fuel price then don't buy car la. Don't snob with your Avanzza or Altis. The fact that your country is slower than other country (Singapore since you like to compare) is the fact that some money are channel to subsidise us rather than being put to development. Furthermore, how can you compare a country as tiny as Singapore and Brunei with us? We have a land larger than them by 20 times. And all that needs development. If all the money is channeled to just one Selangor ( approximately same size with Singapore or Brunei) of course you'll can develop. It's like you have one million chips hold by one gambler rather than one million hold by 100 gamblers.

Since you like to compare Singapore again then did you know that Singaporeans are paying the fuel price that share the same with the current world fuel price? Can you take that? Compare with Brunei which sell approximately RM1.20? I've been to Brunei. Of course it's cheap fuel there but the price for food is much higher there. I can point out some more reasons why you can't compare with Brunei but let just keep it within this blog.

I agree that the government need to be warned to toe their line but you must also don't blame others too much. Face the fact! Don't narrow your view. Look into a broader perspective.

Mahathir will never let BN lost no matter what. He is a very strong man and create his own way to win all. But if a country is going to develop, it should have 2 or 3 equally strong parties, as u said to cross check our parliament.

Badawi had done his best for our country. We cannot compared him to Mahathir because both possess different way of leading. Badawi had done a good job, I do appreciate him very much. In fact, I am kinda worried of Najib taking over PM. Najib is still too young.

My humble opinion. =P
