English Birthday

You heard about English Breakfast. How about English Birthday? My colleague here Mr Robert Wilcockson is going to celebrate his 22nd birthday on 1 May. Wow the whole world is going for holiday because of him. So he invited us all to go out for a birthday dinner. Here wou can't get bakery shop selling ready made cake. The bakery here sells bread. So not many birthday cake. And if you are having birthday usually you'll be treated like king. Here is A-A concept (Hong Kong term). Present is not compulsory some more. Pub before and after meal is a norm here. But for me alchoholic is no no. Not that I am bound to any religious act or being mommy's boy. Just that I don't like it. It's like how my dad force me to drink bittergourd juice but to no avail. Just as simple as that.
That's your going-to-be birthday boy. Cheers..
