Rannoch Moor

We were on our way to Glasgow using the A82 road. It was already 9PM! Yet it looked as if it was sunset. Fatigue set in. We didn't know where we were. We were just heading to Glasgow and put our trust 100% on our ever-correct GPS gadget, Tom Tom. Soon we passed by a large expanse of boggy moorland. I remember googling about Rannoch Moor when I saw the road sign mentioning the exact same name. We were captivated by the surrounding hilly ground. With the sunlight clearly dissecting the earth into heaven and hell, there is absolutely no reason for us not to stop by the road. Actually we can even stop on the road itself.

I think there was only 1 car in every 3 minutes. If your car broke down you better pray. There's actually no inhabitants at all. It can look beautifully scary if you are traveling alone. It was so warm and comfortable in the car. Once we got out from it, it was just another round of hair drying process. I could only last 2 minutes before I hopped back to the car to get my jacket. Windy and cold. The scenery is something you can't really describe in words and photos. The photo we snapped does not really show the true feeling of what our eyes saw. In other words, you must be there personally to experience it.
