When I started to use this software from Grisoft, nobody in my university heard of it. Some don't seems to trust me on the capability of this software. I always believe in underdog story (something like Rocky). The reason I use this software those day was because of the updates that can be done manually instead of hooking your computer to the net and connect to the website itself like Norton did. But the most important is the fact that this software is available freely to home user. Something which Norton aren't willing to do to the community. Nowadays, after a few years AVG Free Edition is the highest download in download.com for few months already. It begins to wipe off that doubt face from those people who would rather go for pirated copies of Norton, Kaspesky or McAfee. I guess it's been more than 7 years I used AVG and I would like to borrow the quote from Abdul Razak's wife....... "and I'm proud of it"
