Hong Kong so-called Petaling Street. First and foremost, I can't find any temples along the street and I wonder why would they name it such a way that when you can't even have one there.
Since I was KL student and went for tuition at Kasturi, Petaling Street is an hour break away before we attended our class at 2 PM those day. I bet you won't notice much difference between here either. They sell faked clothes and souvenir here which I think is reasonably cheap even though I manage to find cheaper one at The Ladies Market (nope, all the sellers are not ladies only). One auntie which stood out the most to me is the one selling salted egg. Nope, not the ordinary "ham dan". It's normal chicken or quail egg steamed inside a pot of salt.
Hong Kong is a city that never sleeps. You get crowded people walking everywhere for no apparent reason unless shopping I assumed. Walking along the Nathan Road, I noticed that Hong Kong can actually bid for Formula One night race. Reason being they will save hell a lot of money without installing any flashlights. And to drive in Hong Kong, you need not only a Hong Kong license, you need Formula One license too! The road is so tight yet the driver can squeeze to their lane at Lewis Hamilton's speed. What I salute them is they abide the law while doing it.
One of the reason why Hongkie's skin is so smooth. Not enough with their bath session at the house, they have to bathe again outside. They are so hygienic. You get these services almost everywhere.
Now this is Ladies Market. Located at Tung Choi Road. No "Tiuk Chui Yoke" at the end of this street, ok. If you are hunting for some nice Hong Kong t-shirt then you have to drop by here. It's much cheaper than Temple Street.
As you can see, most of the items sold here are clothing. By the way, you don't call this market as Ladies Market if you can't find things that attract the ladies, right?
Hmm.. I am wondering, is the ladies' latest fad the football jersey?
