Journey to Perth - The Unexpected Forth Bridge

The journey to our first night hostel at Perth was least unexpected. All the hotels, hostels, service apartments, guesthouse, or tepi jalan are fully booked in Edinburgh. We have no choice but to go out from the city. The best is to find somewhere that will be on our way to Inverness (to hunt Loch Ness monster). Perth. Not the Australia one but in Scotland. While on our 1.5 hour drive, we passed by one magnificent railway bridge. Forth Bridge.

I know Penang Bridge is much longer but this bridge has some speciality of its own kind. Answer me my question? Who will build a long steel cantilever bridge across a sea just to cater for train only? I bet you the Work Minister will be sacked straight away if approved such project. Only in UK will do that. Alas, at around 11PM we finally reached our hostel. Wester Caputh. Not that grand. Not that big. Just a simple hostel with all the amenities you need for one night stand stay. 13 pound per night. No qualm with decision mate.
